For families OCMA Free Second Sundays | OCMA Project Of The Month | "Arts Can" Food Drive OCMA Free Second Sundays OCMA Free Second Sundays is one of the best ways for Orange County families to spend time together enjoying art. Thanks to the generous support of the Visionaries, admission is free on the second Sunday of every month. Join us for all day family fun on these special days! Activities from 11 am-4 pm. February 14 Valentine's Day Celebration: Amor Amorales Bring the family and spend Valentine's Day at OCMA! Creating special hand-crafted gifts for loved ones, enjoy imaginative puppet performances by Jukebox Radio Puppetry and Song, and fall in love with artwork by Carlos Amorales in our galleries. Schedule: 11:00-4:00pm: On-going hands-on art projects 12:00-12:30pm: Interactive family tour of Carlos Amorales: Discarded Spider Geared for children, sign-up required 12:00-3:00pm: Face painting artist 12:30-1:00pm: Jukebox Radio Puppetry and Song 1:00-1:30pm: Public tour of Carlos Amorales: Discarded Spider Geared for teens-adults 2:00-2:30pm Jukebox Radio Puppetry and Song 3:00-3:30pm Interactive family tour of Carlos Amorales: Discarded Spider Geared for children, sign-up required 4:00pm: Program concludes March 14 March Madness Come to OCMA for a crazy day of family fun! Enjoy spring-inspired films for kids co-presented by Newport Beach FILm Festival and have fun with interactive art installations including Charles Long: 100 Pounds of Clay.   OCMA Project Of The Month At every Free Second Sundays, OCMA selects one outstanding art project as our OCMA PROJECT OF THE MONTH! This January, we celebrated the New Year with projects from around the globe. Guests created artworks that ranged from year of the tiger puppet to visionary kaleidoscope. Congratulations to our OCMA Project of the Month!   "Arts Can" Food Drive Help us support ArtsCan and the OC Food Bank! Bring in 3 canned food items and receive 1 day free admission to OCMA, now through February 14, 2010. An increasing number of Orange County residents are struggling to feed themselves and their families. As a result, OCMA is participating in ArtsCan, a campaign involving Orange County's arts community who have united together to collect food for the Orange County Food Bank. You can help support by bringing in canned food items to the museum during the time of January 16 to February 14, 2010.
