Imaging + Imagining California
february 3 - june 17, 2007 Imaging + Imagining California, the second exhibition in an ongoing series of collection installations, Collection Histories / Collective Memories, explores key developments in modern and contemporary art. As the name implies, this series also documents the museum’s historic and continuing role in organizing exhibitions that have helped to establish California art and artists locally, nationally and internationally.
