Art historian Cecile Whiting examines how and why Pop artists incorporated commercial imagery (advertisements, celebrity photos, comic strips) and techniques into their artworks, and what impact they had on pop culture during the 1960s.
Tickets are handed out beginning at noon on the day of the talk. OCMA members may reserve seats in advance here. Unclaimed tickets will be released 10 minutes prior to the start of the lecture.
