The documentary Graphic Means explores graphic design production of the 1950s through the 1990s—from linecaster to photocomposition, and from paste-up to PDF. 

Includes interviews with Paul Brainerd, Colin Brignall + Dave Farey, Steven Heller, Cece Cutsforth, Tobias Frere-Jones, Ellen Lupton, April Greiman, Ken Garland, Malcolm Garrett, Lucille Tenazas, Walter Graham, Dan Rhatigan, Frank Romano, Adrian Shaughnessy, Carolina de Bartolo, Ilene Strizver, Gerard Huerta, James Craig, Lou Brooks, Gene Gable, Ian Swift, and Joe Erceg.

Tickets are handed out beginning at 5 pm on the day of the screening. OCMA members may reserve seats in advance here. Unclaimed tickets will be released 10 minutes prior to the start of the film.
