Kei Akagi + Kojiro Umezaki: Contemporary Asian Perspectives in American Music

Hear acclaimed musicians Kei Akagi (piano), Kojiro Umezaki (shakuhachi), Darek Oles (bass), and Tamaya Honda (drum) in a rare performance connecting American Jazz music to traditional Japanese music and revealing the history of multi-culturalism that is at the roots of American musical culture.
