The Fall Series explores the last of the coherent and named movements in the fine arts: traveling to Germany, France, America, and points beyond. The golden age of big painting was also an era in which the marketplace, not critics, created the art and artists. Lectures are held at 1 pm on October 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, and November 6.
